🏃♂️ Popular Frisbee Games in China
Ultimate Frisbee: Two teams of 7 people attack and defend each other, and the goal is to throw the Frisbee into the scoring area.
Precision Frisbee: Complete all target baskets with the least number of Frisbee throws.
Dodge Frisbee: 13-person team competition, the Frisbee hits the opponent within the specified time.
📏 Frisbee Competition Rules
Venue: Use a rectangular venue with scoring areas at both ends. The regular competition venue is 64 meters long and 37 meters wide, and the scoring area is 18 meters long.
Start: Players from both teams line up in their respective scoring areas. The defending team throws the disc to the attacking team (called the kickoff). In a formal game, only seven players from each team are allowed to play at the same time.
Scoring: Each time the attacking team successfully passes the disc into the opposing team's scoring area, the attacking team scores one point. After a point is scored, the next round is prepared according to the start method.
Moving the disc: The disc may be thrown in any direction in order to pass to a teammate. Players are not allowed to run with the disc. The person holding the disc has ten seconds to decide where to throw the disc. The player defending the passer should count out loud these ten seconds.
Errors: If the attacking team fails to pass the disc to a teammate (e.g., out of bounds, missed, blocked by the opponent, intercepted by the opponent), the defending team has the right to take the disc and immediately switch offense and defense.
Substitutions: Substitutions are only allowed after a score or when a player is injured.
No physical contact: There should be no physical contact between players. Blocking other players' running is also not allowed. Physical contact is called a foul.
Foul: When a player makes physical contact with another player, it is called a foul. If a foul results in a mistake, the Frisbee will be returned to the affected player. If the fouling player feels that he did not foul, the Frisbee will be returned to the previous player who took the Frisbee, and the game will continue.
Self-judgment: Players are responsible for deciding when to foul or go out of bounds. Players should discuss and resolve conflicts on the field in a civilized manner.
The spirit of Ultimate Frisbee: Ultimate Frisbee attaches great importance to sportsmanship and fair play. It encourages players to compete hard, but competition is never to damage the relationship between players and respect for rules.
🎈 Frisbee is not only a form of entertainment, but also a manifestation of teamwork and competitive spirit. Master these rules and gameplay, and you will be able to better enjoy the fun of Frisbee.
